Hello everyone,
I have been experiencing an internet connection issue on my computer for a while now, even though everything was working fine before.
I can access the internet from my phone but not from my computer. When I launch Google Chrome, a message appears: "DNS_Probe_finished_no_internet"
Unable to connect to the internet.
I have tried:
-Allowing Google Chrome to communicate through the firewall
Or
-Disabling the firewall/antivirus
-Adjusting the proxy settings
-Using a fixed DNS (from SFR): preferred DNS/auxiliary DNS
auxiliary (TCP/IPv4)
-Connecting the computer via Ethernet cable
-Using another browser
-Turning off/unplugging the SFR box for 1 minute.

But none of this works!! I have searched online for a solution but found nothing.
I need your help,
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone.
I encountered the same issue on Google Chrome with a Windows 8 computer. I tested everything I found on the forums and what was suggested to me. The connection works very well, just impossible to update the software and access the internet via browsers (regardless of the browser). I tested the DNS, the proxy, the firewall, removed the antivirus, put them back... tested ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew in the console... nothing worked... then netsh winsock reset all in the console told me to elevate the level.
Solution found: press the "Windows" key + X which allows you to start the command prompt as an admin.
Then this line of code "netsh winsock reset all" (without quotes)
Restart the computer and... magic, it works again on all browsers!!!!
Hoping this helps you all..

Thank you very much.
I've been struggling for hours without finding a solution on my daughter's PC. The antivirus, the Windows firewall, AdwCleaner, and others...
It's simple and it works.
Thank you.
PS: After that, she needs to stop wandering anywhere on the internet...
