Hello,

Hello,

I'm reaching out for help because I'm facing a big problem that's really annoying me

I usually use Chrome.
My PC is a desktop and is connected via powerline to my Freebox with a speed of 1.1MB/s (8.9Mbps)

When I browse and use Chrome, I constantly get the error message: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET

I ran a virus scan (it took all night for 1TB of data) and it found nothing (with Avast Internet Security)

However, with Chrome it's a bit slower but the problem disappears and I can surf normally

How can I resolve this issue?

Thank you to those who will respond

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 36.0.1985.125

    Hello,

In case your problem occurs, open a terminal and type netsh winsock reset

    Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 38.0.2125.104

Be sure to restart your computer after the operation...

      Hello,

You need to search for the command prompt or cmd.exe and then write Imrane's command.

      See you later!

    A BIG THANK YOU IMRANNE555!!!!
I had this problem for 2 years, I was using CCleaner every 5-10 minutes to be able to browse the internet.
But I entered your command and no longer need CCleaner (it was a hassle to get that DNS_Prob message every 5 minutes and have to spend time cleaning with CCleaner)

P.S.: This is the first time I've left a message on a forum, but honestly, I had to thank you!!!

    Hello,

I noticed an issue with Java in some topics, is it up to date?
    Remove it and reinstall it:

Have you gone through JavaRA? Did you uninstall the old ones?

I have the same problem as you except that when I'm in "Age of Empires III" and in other games or "bittorrent," I can't open a single internet page, neither Firefox nor Chrome nor anything at all, with the error message DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET.

Hello, when I want to type the command, it tells me that I need to be an administrator. What should I do, please?

Just right-click on the command prompt and select "Run as administrator." Then, it will work and you just have to type the command ^_^
