Hello,
I have connected two network drives X: and Y:
Both drives point to my NAS, yet neither appears in the explorer
I tried to disconnect them in order to recreate them, but when I click on "disconnect network drive," neither shows up in the selection window!
Yet both letters are indeed taken because when I type Y: or Z: in the explorer, I can see my remote folder, and also when I open the connection wizard, both letters are already in use, so Windows does not offer them anymore.
What can I do to make these two drives appear correctly in the explorer?
Thank you for your help
Pascal

Hello,
It looks like symptoms related to User Account Control (UAC)
You should try through the registry.
1. Start regedit
2. Navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/System
3. Create a new DWORD value named EnableLinkedConnections, and set it to 1.
4 - Restart the machine.

Using a registry "compactor" on top of a registry "cleaner" would be equivalent to rinsing your throat with a swig of Jack Daniels after swallowing a pint of snake oil....
