Hyper-V missing from features

Hello,

I am currently trying to enable virtualization on my PC. For this, I need to install Hyper-V through Windows features, but apparently this feature does not exist on my computer, as the Hyper-V box is not present in the features.

I checked with CoreInfo and my processor supports visualization, SLAT, and it also tells me that Hyper-V is present. Task Manager, in the processor tab, informs me that Hyper-V support is enabled, but virtualization is disabled.

Is there a way to find and install Hyper-V without going through "Enable or disable Windows features," or to enable virtualization without Hyper-V, since I am told it is already present?

In case it might help you, here are the specifications of my computer:
Acer Aspire E1-521-0694
Processor: AMD E2-1800 (1.7GHz)
Graphics: Radeon HD 7340 (384MB)
6 GB RAM
Windows 8.1
BIOS 2.09

Thank you for your help.

    Good evening,

Hyper-V is only available for the Pro and Enterprise versions of Windows 8 and 8.1.
So you will need to use a third-party software like VMware Player or VirtualBox.

    Best regards.

Oh yeah, I understand better now why I can activate it under Seven and not 8.1...
And do you think that in 10 the feature will be there?

It will always be the same. Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise will have the feature.
And under seven, there is no Hyper-V. It does not exist.
