Hello, I am new to this forum, I have a problem with my laptop, I have Windows 7 and it's been a long time since I tried to install Internet Explorer because it crashed my computer every time I opened it. I have three other browsers: Google Chrome, Opera and Comodo Dragon that I downloaded a week ago. Today, when I turned on my computer, I saw that Comodo Dragon was no longer on the desktop. I went to the programs folder and it was not there, which means it was uninstalled even though no one touched the PC. I wanted to download it again but neither Chrome nor Opera would open. I thought everything on the desktop might not work anymore, but all the other programs were working fine. I ran a scan with Kaspersky but it did not detect any problems.
I am eagerly awaiting your responses, thank you.

Hi!
You probably have a task issue with your two browsers, go to Task Manager (Start > Type Task Manager) then right-click on Chrome and Opera and select End Task, then restart them ;)

I typed task manager and it displayed "show running processes with task manager"; I clicked on it and got a table with the tabs: applications, processes, performance, networking. I couldn't find Chrome and Opera.

Well, it's more complicated than I thought...
In my opinion, one is preventing the other from opening; you should uninstall Opera and try to run Chrome without Opera ;)

I solved part of the problem, I downloaded the Windows update
now Opera works normally but it's not over for Chrome, it opens but doesn't function, it shows me white and orange screens with "new tab" written on them and I can't do anything, I disabled my Kaspersky firewall but that didn't help.

I have understood the problem with chrome; every time I open it, it goes to eazl.com. If I let it go to that site, everything works fine, but if I go to another site, it doesn't work. I was told that it’s a Trojan horse that created this issue for me. Do you know how I can get rid of the Trojan horse to solve this problem?

Hello,
What happens when you try to launch one of the 2 browsers?
One important thing, never uninstall Internet Explorer even if it really is "crap".

When I try to launch it, nothing happens as if I hadn't clicked
And for Internet Explorer, it's too late, I uninstalled it weeks ago.
