Display issue: page break after table

Hello,

I am using Word 2010 version 14.0.7128.5000

I am experiencing display issues:
I have tables that I copied from Excel and pasted into Word. These are small tables that easily fit on one page.
Instead of the text continuing after the table on the same page, it ends up on the next page, even though there is plenty of space available. See screenshot



You will note that there is no page break after the table (at least there is no marker), but Word is behaving as if there is one.
I have tried looking in the table options, in the paragraph options before and after, but I cannot find anything.

Hello,

your paragraphs display a small black square on the left, typical of Word's paragraph linking features.

Select all your paragraphs, right-click, Paragraph, “Line and Page Breaks” tab, disable “Keep lines together” or “Keep with next”.

I had indeed seen these settings but it seemed more logical to me that if I check "Keep with next," the table stays with the following paragraph...
