Page numbering and section break

Hello,
I need to create a Word document and set up page numbering, but on certain pages the numbering does not continue; for example, I have:
page 1/2/3/4/5/7/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16/17/18/19/20/21/22/23/24/25 and then there is no more page numbering and after that it starts again at 24
I have already tried looking into section breaks but I don't understand anything
Could someone explain how to do proper page numbering

Are there 2 pages 7? Or is it a typo?
First, display the formatting marks to see the section breaks: Ctrl+Shift+8
And to understand the section breaks, follow this tutorial

At the end of page 25, you should have a 'next page section break'
and on page 26, the numbering should be set to restart at 24:
click in the header: Page Numbers | Page Number Format | Start at: ... here you need to check 'continue from the previous section'
