Hello,

When I connect my laptop to my TV (I also tried on a friend's and the result is the same), the sound and image are sped up (I tried it online, on VLC, on iTunes...).
I can't find a similar topic either, so help please.

Thanks in advance.

I am running Windows 8, graphics card: GeForce GTX 765M, Intel Core i7.

Hello, have you found a solution to your problem? I have almost the same setup (GTX 850) and the same issue. Thank you.

Have you tried with a different HDMI cable than the one you used?

There are two solutions: either your Flash player is malfunctioning or your Firefox or Google Chrome.

    Uninstall both
    restart the PC
    and reinstall

Moreover, the problem only occurs WHEN I plug the HDMI cable into my TV, not when I watch videos without plugging in the HDMI cable.

      Hello,

...I have pretty much the same issue with the following setup: Windows 8.1 on ASUS ROG G750JS.
Have you received any responses from others?
      Thank you!

Probably a defect in your graphics card.
    Try this:
Keep the HDMI cable plugged in on both sides during the driver installation.

    1- Uninstall your graphics driver
    2- Restart your PC
3- Download your graphics driver from the manufacturer's website
    4- Install your driver
    5- Restart your PC

... I had previously attempted to update the various drivers without effect, the uninstall/install seems to have resolved the issue of playback speed (video and audio)

      Thanks LT!

P.S.: This is not a problem for me since my 5.1 is plugged into my computer, but the sound for me no longer comes out of my monitor which is equipped with speakers...!
