How can one remove the birthday reminder when using the pricey UI 8.0 and Android 16????

    I suppose it is One UI 8.0. (You are not obliged to validate the stupid correction suggestions proposed by your keyboard).

    It is impossible to answer your question, because birthday reminders can be offered by different apps:
    Google Calendar, Samsung's calendar, but also WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.

    So for a person's birthday, you can very well receive 2 or 3 notifications from different apps.

    Therefore you need to know which apps send these notifications and then disable them in the settings of the concerned apps.

    It is totally independent of Android versions and One UI.

    Thank you for your response. Indeed, if we are not careful, we end up validating beautiful pearls!

    I suppose it’s Google sending me these reminders since it’s xx's birthday.
