Call issue with Viber

Hello,
I have an iPhone and when I download Viber and want to call, it tells me to pay or buy credits.
Viber is not paid, right?

Hi, the Viber app is free to download and allows you to call contacts who also have Viber on their smartphones for free. The only thing that costs money is if you call a contact who does not have Viber on his smartphone/phone, and in that case, you need to purchase credit.
Viber uses internet connection, so you must have internet access via Wi-Fi or in your plan.
