Select multiple objects in Word 2010

Hello,
With Word 2007 there was no problem: when we had ungrouped a drawing (a geometric shape) made up of many elements, we could easily regroup everything by simply using the "select objects" button...
Then with the mouse, we could "surround" very easily and quickly all the elements to be grouped and clicked on "group"... and it was done...
With the 2010 version, this function has disappeared: how do you group multiple objects without using the Shift button which allows grouping elements one by one?

Impossible in the 2010 version (forgotten by Microsoft?). Restored in the 2013 version.
Generally speaking, it is advisable to use drawing areas that make it much easier to manage this kind of composite geometric shapes, and which particularly allow in the 2010 version to make selections with the mouse.
Furthermore, with a drawing area, grouping often becomes unnecessary.
