How to convert a jpeg document to pes for embroidery on Mac Closed

Hello, I have a Mac and I just bought a sewing machine that does embroidery but it's compatible with a PC!!! And I would like my company logos that I made in Illustrator to be transformed into embroidery so I can put it in JPEG and I need to convert it to PES for my Brother machine. There is software called CONVERT IT MAC but it costs money!! You need the serial number when you download the demo so it doesn't work if you don’t pay!! Is there any free embroidery software for Mac? I'm desperate!!   Configuration: Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5) / Safari 6.1.6

The .pes format is certainly specific to the software on your machine, and I doubt there are any software programs (especially free ones) that can convert to this format. In any case, it is not listed in the (long) list of formats offered by Graphic Converter, which is certainly the champion of the category.  The most "simple" solution in your case is probably to install Windows and then your software on your Mac, via Boot Camp (which allows you to boot your Mac like a PC when you want) or through a virtualization solution (for free, there's VirtualBox - but I'm not sure it would be sufficient to connect to your Brother machine).  Another option (I know, it's easy): ask someone you know who has a PC to assist you during the conversion...  Otherwise, here are some avenues to explore on this page (but you may already know it). Thank you for responding!! Yes, I spent 2 days looking at all the software for my sewing machine that also does embroidery, it's a Brother HE240. I'm going to try to install Windows on my Mac; I don't know which software is the best? I will try that and I will get this software PE-DESIGN NEXT which looks not so bad!!

Hello,  You should find what you're looking for on this online converter. It's in English, but if you don't understand, you can use translation tools like Google Translate, for example. Hello Annie! Thank you for getting back to me, but my files are AI (Illustrator on Mac) that I want to convert to PES. I can save them as JPEG, but not in other formats that would work with your link!

Hello Kachalola,  OK, I signed up to understand, and indeed, the JPG format is not accepted. So 2 solutions:  1) I read somewhere that you just need to convert the image to BMP format (for example here) and then change the extension to PES. Since I don't have a machine, I couldn't test it, but honestly, I would be surprised if it were that simple! Still worth testing, you never know...  2) Otherwise, use the same converter but this time convert to .SVG format. Then, go through another converter that will convert your SVG to EXP. From there, use the link I gave you yesterday which will allow you to convert your EXP to PES! I experimented, it works, it's free, but I obviously can't test the result.  It's a bit of a hassle but not complicated. Let me know if you succeeded, OK? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!  And if it doesn’t work, I suggest you look for help on embroidery forums: if you can't find a solution to do it yourself, you might find a kind soul who will graciously help you with your conversions. ;-)  -- Please be patient: I have a 9-hour time difference...

It doesn't work because when I put my document in SVG format, it gives me a document that includes coded sentences, and after I convert it to PES, it gives me a distorted image???
