Problem with Digicube DTS 700 HD TNT decoder

Hello, I have this decoder and I'm experiencing an issue while recording on my VCR. The recording does not finish because the decoder goes into standby mode. Since I do not have the manual (missing from the box), can someone who has this decoder provide me with information?

    You need to disable or extend the automatic standby.
