Hello,
I received an email claiming that I was supposedly communicating with a 16-year-old minor and that there were photos of me.
I was scared and replied to this email right away, but afterward I came to the blog and when I see your testimonials, I think I got scammed. However, what worries me is knowing if by replying my email account has been hacked? And if so, what should I do? Thank you for your help.

Good evening, I just received the same email, I freaked out, I wanted to call the police in my town but the number that Google is giving me is not correct.
Hello, I also received this message this morning, I P A N I C K E D !!!!!!!!!!
lolllll I even called the police because I’m alone in the countryside and I really freaked out. Anyway, they laughed, I told them that since I play a game called red light center, it’s a site with avatars, I thought it was related to that but no, they said it’s nothing to do with it, it’s a scam, nothing more, so no need to panic :)))

Hello, I just received an email from the general directorate of the judicial police and protection of minors. It's the second one in 15 days. A little panic, nonetheless.
Hello, the "juvenile brigade" is displayed on the Hotmail page in the link bar when I hover over the open web pages... does anyone have any idea or solution?
Hello,
I just found this same email from Mesdames Catherine Bonnet and Martine Dupuis. A new team, of course, whose secretariat must not be aware of the rules of spelling or the politeness formulas inherent in drafting an administrative and judicial letter.
Sex trafficking and not sexual!
Justifications... blablabla... verified... not verified.
Recorded... no, because of the photographs!
Etcetera...
I note the absence of an 08 or 09 number for direct phone contacts like for the bank fraud squad.
Strange, isn't it!
Coming out of the bathroom or your bed in Adam and Eve attire becomes a crime; many of us will be "at the station," of course with masks for reasons of health solidarity!
As for the twisted author of this obscene writing, their mediocrity and perfidy do not reach my integrity. However, I will print their writing to present it at the police station to file a complaint against X, once the lockdown ends on December 15th.
Come on, "there's joy," the only remedy for stupidity and fear.
Happy end of 2020 to all, far from the sly agitators, let’s preserve our human dignity.

We have just received a follow-up to the email sent by brigardedeprotection. ***@***
Yes, the email is indeed written like that; these are not typos and in this email it says
Mr/Mrs,
You have a summons from the GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF CRIMINAL POLICE.
Please contact us for more details regarding the allegations against you.
Sincerely,
Administrative Secretary of the Criminal Police.
This email is in French and I live in Belgium in addition to being full of spelling mistakes. If someone receives the same email, it's always a scam, just by looking at the email address.

I myself just received the same email. Do not reply, it is a scam; the principle is to scare you and encourage you to respond to extract money from you.

I received a similar message... We are writing to you from the French national gendarmerie, we have received an arrest warrant from the Ministry of Justice and Foreign Affairs for acts of pedophilia, child pornography, perversion, and pimping. We were contacted by the Ministry of Justice of the French Republic, Ms. Nicole Belloubet.
Having received the infamous email from the same person last night, I am now receiving a new one but with a different subject line, in case it helps people..
Good evening,
We have conducted a computer seizure for acts of: pedophilia, perversion, pimping, and pornography, on our department's computer network.
This constitutes an offense and a crime punishable by law under articles 227-25 of the Penal Code. Images of you as evidence confirm this.
We wish to warn you that this complaint should not be taken lightly. For the proper conduct of this investigation, we kindly ask you to cooperate with our legal department in charge of your case, for your good image and that of your family.
We will not put your reputation and dignity at risk; we seek your collaboration and sincerity to avoid a publication on social media regarding your actions towards minors.
Failure to cooperate on your part will result in your photos and information being posted on social media and disseminated in local press publications.
Note: ''Penal Code, article 227-25: the act, by an adult, of committing a sexual offense without violence, constraint, threat, or surprise on a minor under 16 years of age is punishable by five years of imprisonment.
Now you have been warned.
Best regards,
Mrs. Ben-Messaoud Elise

Hello
I also received it yesterday twice with a slightly different form "pseudo.origin" from The Hague
This is a scam
1/email origin firstname.lastname@universite-paris-saclay.fr
2/too many mistakes (in bold)
3/some incorrect terms
4/mailing letter: original phrase dear sir/madam
Indeed for this kind of thing, they do not notify as previously mentioned.
Finally, on the following official link, it is clearly stated that this is a scam https://www.cybermalveillance.gouv.fr/tous-nos-contenus/actualites/campagnes-messages-escroquerie-usurpant-identite-police-nationale

Hello, I also received this kind of email from the address ***@*** with also ***@***, is this also a scam? I don't understand why I'm receiving this. I thought emails from these agencies were .gouv.
Hello, I received the same email too and I don’t know where it’s from, Facebook or dating sites. What should I do? Thanks.
Re:
FAKE... Scammers..
Let it be.. The Police/Court Services don't communicate much through this means.. Moreover, EUROPOL (The REAL one...) is a European Liaison Agency facilitating the exchange of information between various national police forces (drugs, terrorism, international crime, pedophilia)..
If they really had something to hold against you, it would be the national services that would come to your place (Around 6:00 in the morning..).
Do not communicate with these clowns, do not give either money or documents.. SILENCE.. No panic..
See you later

Hello
A policeman who would cover up a 'case' for money would be risking a lot! And it would be easy for you to report him. Keep your conversations safe..
We strongly doubt that it was the REAL police who called you.. Probably just a small-time crook trying to make some cash.
The so-called 'policeman' might actually be the 'minor' (To be seen..) that you were interested in, which wouldn’t be surprising..
In this story, was there any video (With some kind of 'minor' writhing in front of the camera..)? In that case, the minor was the bait for the scammer..
This thing is all nonsense..
But – just between us – stay away from REAL minors if you are into juvenile porn.. DANGER!!
See you!

Thank you for your response; it was just a discussion on a chat site.
The "officer" called me several times from a hidden number the days before calling me without it being hidden, and that’s when I answered. But how can I be sure? He detailed all the risks I was facing, that they were going to request the chat site's records to access other discussions and request access to my internet router.
How could this person have obtained my number? How can I know if he is a real police officer?
