yes, on this model it automatically locks during a call when there is no proximity sensor... so if you don't want it anymore, here's how to proceed,

settings then accessibility then call start/end and check the power button to end your call....

The lock cannot be removed; it's original and non-modifiable... either you press the lock twice, or if you have any doubts, make sure you have properly hung up your line following my method... you can also press twice during the conversation to unlock it... that's how it is on your Trend Lite, no proximity sensor when you put your phone to your ear, and turn your screen off to prevent accidentally ending the ongoing conversation due to a movement of your face on the touchscreen... well, that's how it is... nothing else to say about that...
