Screen Display VS Document Printing

Hello,

Is there a way that when I open my file on the computer, the cells display the same thing as when I print or in print preview mode?

It seems to me that the automatic line breaks are not the same in data entry mode as they are in print preview mode.

Since the file sometimes needs to be read on screen, it would be better to have all the text visible. However, others may want to print the same file. If I make sure that all the text in my cells is visible on screen, there is then a strange spacing between the lines for which I had to adjust the height in order to see all the text.

Thank you for your help! :)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello,

It can happen that the content displayed by Excel is not strictly the same as the sheet printed on the printer.

What I can advise you is to insert manual line breaks in your cells. (In Excel, line breaks in a cell are done using the combination [ALT]+[ENTER])

You can change the margins: "Page Layout" > "Margins", to reduce them and thus have more content on the page.

Finally, you can select the cells/range you want to print and in "Page Layout" > "Print Area" you can click "Set". This will define the print areas and prevent you from printing an empty column due to a potential space in a cell of that column.

You can also go to "View" > "Page Layout" (2nd button)

This will allow you to see the page with the margins

If you still cannot achieve the desired result, you can send us your file via cjoint.com

Have a nice day

And also set the zoom to 100%, because with different rates, Excel sometimes uses substitute fonts and the Wysiwyg is no longer correct.
