Hello!

First of all, thank you for the help you are providing me. I purchased a 1TB internal hard drive from a private seller online, who bought it from LDLC.COM on June 26, 2014, and provided me with the invoice. The manufacturer's warranty is valid until July 2016, but LDLC.COM refuses a return or exchange because the packaging is opened. I installed the drive and formatted it in NTFS.

The problem is as follows: the drive appears as: Local Disk (F:) 116 GB free of 116 GB and in properties:
- Used Space: 95.1 MB - Free Space: 116 GB.

But where did the rest, about 884 GB, go? Did I make a mistake or an error in formatting? You would be so kind as to help me solve my problem; what should I do?
- Brand of the drive Seagate Model Barracuda 1 TB. SATA 3.5 7200 RPM 64 MB.
Best regards.

He may have only created one partition and the rest. Go to disk management. Just right-click on the space, then click on Format. After formatting, another partition will appear in Windows Explorer.

Thank you!
My problem is resolved after downloading "Easeus Partition Master," which was communicated to me by "Falu."

What you meant to say is that you didn't need any special software. This kind of operation is done using Windows in disk management.

But Disk Management is not capable of creating a "Logical" partition

And a "Logical" partition is better for data drives.
