What is the use of PWR 1 connector on motherboard (4-pin)?

Hello,
I am currently changing my power supply, and it turns out that while removing my old power supply, I had to disconnect a 4-pin cable connected to the motherboard. However, my new power supply (Corsair CX750) does not have a 4-pin cable.

I was wondering if it is important to use this plug, and if I should try to find a 6-pin to 4-pin cable to connect it.

My motherboard is an MSI Iona 1.0, visible in the schematic here -> https://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=en&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c02049273#N494 (in the motherboard schematic)

Otherwise, all the other connectors are connectable, and I won’t have any issues.

Thank you in advance for your responses :)

(I will try to start it without connecting it anyway, to see if it causes a problem)

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 36.0.1985.125

It is about the P4 connector that powers the CPU. Current motherboards have a P8 connector (8 pins) to power the CPU. So, unless there are exceptions, current power supplies no longer have a P4, but P8 connectors. However, this is not a problem, as the P8 is usually made up of 2 detachable blocks of 4 pins. In your case, you only need to connect one 4-pin block.
