Hi, I just bought a second-hand graphics card, a GTX 670, I plug it into the slot, connect the 2 PCIe power supply cables and when starting the PC it tells me "please power down and connect the PCIe power cable(s) for this graphics card," which means I need to connect the PCIe cables, but they are both connected to the GPU and the power supply, help!!

Have you connected the right cables to the right places?

Is your power supply capable of delivering the required power?

Is there a power indicator on your graphics card that shows whether the card is receiving power even when the PC is turned off?

Yes, it's plugged in the right place (I don't see where else I could plug it in) yes, no problems, it's a 750W.
And no, no indicator light at first glance but the PC detects it so it's working.

It's strange, the cables may be damaged or the output on the power supply isn't working

Do you have a way to test with other cables or on another outlet?

The graphics card may be dead and you got scammed

Did you check its proper functioning before paying for it?

With other cables, no, but I can always try to swap the cables around at the power supply output.

Not really possible since the PC detects it in any case.

I’m following up on the issue because I have a problem with the cables I ordered. I first ordered one: https://www.materiel.net/produit/201012170239.html, which is not the right one. I'm already annoyed since I’ve been waiting for 3 weeks to plug in my graphics card. So I ordered another one: https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00220973.html, which is clearly labeled "Power cable for graphics card". So I looked, and in the pictures, you can't see the connector that goes into the power supply. Well, since it's marked for graphics card, I ordered it. And upon receipt, bingo, it's still not right!!!! Same male connector when I need a female one. I’m attaching a photo of my power supply. The current problem is that I can’t find 8-pin female to 6+2 pin PCI-E cables!! HELP ME, I’m fed up :(

You surprisingly have a GTX 670 powered by a PCI-E 6 pins and a PCI-E 8 pins. A PCI-E 6 pins to PCI-E 8 pins adapter would have done the trick. Apparently, you didn't choose the right items:

The first is an extension, apparently, P8 for CPU.

The second is apparently an 8 pins PCI-E cable, but intended to be plugged into a SilverStone modular power supply. It was an adapter like this that you needed:
