Hello,
following a problem with the plug, we received a new plug today. The new generation plug (white with 2 LEDs) does not sync with the old generation freeplug (black with 1 LED). They are plugged into the same power strip and despite the resets, only the 2 old generation plugs sync.
Am I the only one experiencing this compatibility issue and is this normal?

Hello, they are perfectly compatible. I also had two black ones and one white one. In fact, when you synchronize, you need to plug all three into the same power strip (as you did) and proceed as follows:
1/ Reset all the freeplugs to "zero" (press and hold the button for 12 seconds); the LEDs will all turn red.
2/ Press the button on the freebox server (the freeplug associated with your freebox) for 2 seconds, then on the second black freeplug. Both will then pair.
3/ Press the button on the freebox server again for 2 seconds and then on the white freeplug.
Everyone should now be paired.

It only took me 6 hours to pair the 3, just to really get frustrated and grumble against those who say, "you just need to ................. and it works." It never goes that easily; you have to be patient while following the suggested method: pair the first and the second, then the first and the third. Then, when you get lucky and have all three green indicators, don't unplug anything for at least 10 minutes to keep the chance of retaining the indicators when you set up your devices.
If I had to do it again, I would skip using these tools; the good old antenna is sufficient.
Advice: avoid having a hammer within reach of this powerline adapter equipment; you need to preserve the technology.
