Hello, I apologize first for the time at which I am posting this request and if there are other posts on this subject. The problem is as follows:
For the past 2-3 weeks, a small NVIDIA logo with an orange "!" has appeared in the taskbar, indicating "Updates are available" when I hover over it. When I click on it and select "Check for updates," an error message appears about thirty seconds later saying "Try again later," and then GeForce Experience opens. In the updates section on GeForce Experience, when I try to install the new driver, it says "Unable to connect to NVIDIA." Well, I've searched online and saw 2 or 3 times that I needed to do a manipulation; I tried, but the problem is:
- In C:/programs/NVIDIACorporation/NetServices, the folder to delete is not there even when showing hidden folders, so I "skipped" this step.
- I stopped the process NvNetworkService.exe.
- But in services.msc when I try to start "NVIDIA Network Service," the loading goes quickly until halfway, then slows down, and when it reaches the end, an error message appears:
Windows could not start the NVIDIA Network Service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond quickly enough to the start or control request. There you go, I hope someone can help me.
PS: Sorry for the length.

Attention to take into account only for people on Windows 10
Hi :) I don't know if this post is still relevant, but for my part, I had exactly the same problem but on Windows 10. I simply uninstalled GeForce Experience and reinstalled the latest version, which, if I'm not mistaken, is compatible with Windows 10. After that, I was able to update my graphics card and optimize my games. There you go. If this can help some, that's already something :) have a nice day.
