League of Legends connection issues

Hello,
well, I’ll get straight to the point because I’m starting to get fed up with this problem :'(
I just finished downloading the game League of Legends. Like everyone else, I created an account (on the EU West server, if that helps). Then, I clicked on PLAY. It asked me to log in, which I did, and then it displayed the usual blabla (authentication in progress, connecting... etc.), and suddenly, the problem pops up out of nowhere: "unexpected platform error" !!
I’ve done everything in my power to fix this problem, but nothing works!
So, is there anyone who would be kind enough to help me?
P.S 1: No, I really can't reinstall the game because the update downloads took forever, and I'm not ready to go through that experience again.
P.S 2: I also tried to repair the game with the "repair" button in the launcher, but that didn’t change anything :'(
PLEASE help me, I really want to play this game!
P.S 3: I'm on Windows 7

    It turns out that I had the same problem, and I found a solution.
    If you have Hamachi, go to "Control Panel" > "Programs" > "Uninstall a program" Look for Logeimen (something like that) Hamachi and uninstall it.
