Divide a circle into 18 pieces of 20°.

Hello everyone,

I would like to be able to divide a circle into 18 parts of 20°. Do you know how to do this in Photoshop?

    Hello

    you draw your circle
    you mark the center with reference points
    from the same center, you draw a polygon with 18 sides: the number of sides can be adjusted in the options bar

      Beginner's questions are never stupid, and we've all started somewhere. ;-)

      I don't know what you're trying to do.
      If it's to define the sections, the line tool is the most suitable; you just need to adjust the thickness.
      If it's to cut the sections, you might benefit from tracing them with the pen tool, converting the path into a selection, and making each section a layer by copying.

      Yes, that's what I did with the pen while holding down the shift key, it creates a straight line
      Actually, I was trying to connect the opposite edges to make parts like a bicycle wheel

      do you mean making rays?
      you can do it with the line tool
      to avoid pixelating your rays, create them in shape mode
      and if you want to change the color, use the color overlay from the layers palette

    Hi

    in 9 seconds flat

    draw the diameter with the line tool

    press Ctrl Alt T for a transformation with copy
    enter 40° in the rotation angle at the top and confirm

    finally, press Ctrl Shift Alt T 7 more times to duplicate with copy

    you will have 9 diameters at 40 ° or 18 rays with 20 ° between each

      Erratum: since your rotations repeat in the other half of the circle, you should use 20° as the angle and not 40° as the rotation; the rest is correct.
