Facebook friend disappeared from the list but counted in the total...

Hello,

I mistakenly sent a friend request (an unintentional click on the "suggested" list), the person accepted, I don't know them, there have been a few strange message exchanges with vague responses... Then this morning, I read that a message was available, but in the conversation, all their messages seem to have been deleted by Facebook. I tried to remove them from my list... I still have 80 friends but it only shows 79. How can I get rid of this ghost? Thank you in advance.

    Hello,
    To remove someone from your friends list:
    - Go to that person's Timeline.
    - Hover over "Friends" which appears at the top of their Timeline.
    - Select Remove from Friends.

      Thank you ^Abel^, I know this manipulation but this person only appears in the friends' list and I can't find them in any other list... In itself, this disappearance is not a problem for me, it is this "slight" anomaly (the number of friends) and the fb alerts about the cancellation of their messages (not the conversation that remained active) that puzzles me. The usual process of deleting a friends' list was not followed.
