Selling a Steam account?

Hello, I currently have a Steam account with over 70 games on it. The problem is, I don’t play anymore. I don’t have the time. And it bothers me a bit to abandon an account with like 500 euros worth of games on it. I did some research before, and apparently, it’s a hassle and not very legal to resell a Steam account.

So my question is the following: Can you really resell a Steam account?

    So yes, you can (Everything is possible with the internet) but it’s indeed not very legal; Steam does not allow account resale. So if you ever could sell it to a friend, etc., let’s be clear, I’m not encouraging you to do that, quite the opposite, because this practice is not allowed by Steam. There you go :)

    PS: However, I believe that reselling a Steam account is only allowed if you make a request to Valve and they accept it, or at least I think so.
