Hello everyone,
I am using Illustrator CS and I want to cut a selection out of a vector shape to remove it:
It's to write in transparent on a colored background
In Photoshop it's easy, but in Illustrator, I'm stuck.
If anyone knows how to do it, that would be very nice!

Hello,
You need to use the pathfinder tool.
This tool is found in the window/pathfinder.
The shape to be cut must be in the background.
The cutting shape must be in the foreground.
It is preferable not to have any strokes on either shape.
In the pathfinder, you will need to use the cutting shape.
