Hello,
is 1600x900 comparable to HD (720p), or would it be better for me to buy an HD screen for my PC? (I often watch CanalSat/replay movies on it)

    For your PC, buy a monitor with a resolution of 1920*1080 (1080p) with at least 21 inches diagonal to be comfortable. The prices are not too high either.
