Ikea TV Wi-Fi Network

Hello,

I bought an Ikea TV (to please my wife) with a Wi-Fi dongle that is normally used to receive TV through the box. I installed the dongle and entered my box code, but I can't find any channels. Does anyone know the procedure to get this joyful mess working?

    Hi Fabio,

    No no no, you're mistaken there lol...
    Your UPPLEVA TV works pretty much like a computer when it's connected via an Ethernet cable (RJ45) or with the Wi-Fi dongle (that you bought if I understand correctly).
    With that, you can browse the internet since it's a smart TV, but you cannot transfer/filter TV channels via TNT or your box in any way.
    Understand that this little device only serves to get a wireless internet connection on your TV... that's it.

    To have the channels from your box, you need to connect it to your TV using an HDMI cable or AUX cables.

      Hello Jon, and I'm sorry for thanking you so late after your reply. You were absolutely right, I had all of this confirmed by a technician at Ikea. Anyway, I bought a smart TV for nothing. Life is tough.
