My PS3 is asking me to restore system storage files

Hello,

Can someone tell me why my PS3 is saying "the file system of the system storage is corrupted and will be restored"? When I click OK the restoration starts and it tells me that once the restoration is complete, the system will restart, but once the restoration is finished, my screen goes black and my PS3 stays on without restarting, and when I press the button to reach it, it doesn't turn off. So I leave it on and after 8 or 10 minutes it restarts and asks me to do the restoration again. I have had to do the restoration at least 13 times and it always does the same thing.
For your information, I am on PS3 Slim.
Thank you for your help.

      Read

@natanael just a clarification once you get there if you go
      option 3 first step

then 5 make a data backup first if you want to keep the data
if still nothing your HDD is dead and needs to be replaced

@cedric the PS3 formats itself either from the menu or with option 5 or
by putting it back in no need for a PC for that

Thank you for your advice, but I can't even access the menu because when I turn on my PS3 it directly says "the file system of the system storage is corrupted and will be restored." I can't access the PS3 menu.

you didn't even look at the link so

you can't access it like that by starting the PS3
it's a manipulation to open the security menu for you

Hi, a little trick for you: when the PS asks you to restore before clicking OK, leave the console on that screen, remove the HDD, and click OK without putting the HDD back.
For my part, it worked; if it doesn't work for you, connect your HDD to a PC. If the PC recognizes it, then reformat it from there and reconnect it to the PS. You can copy your saves to the PC while waiting for the formatting, and put them back afterwards.

I can't even access my PS3 because the message "the file system of the system storage is corrupted and will be restored" appears directly.

Yes, well, when you get this message, you have to click on "yes" or "no," then you leave this screen, remove your HDD while keeping the console on, and click on "yes" once the HDD is no longer in the PS.

Alright, thanks, but someone else already told me how to do it and I managed.
      Thanks anyway.

Ok, but how did you do it? It would be useful for those who encounter this issue.

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my PS3 since last night... while playing GTA5 online, the game crashed. It's not the first time, and I imagine I'm not the only one in this situation, so as usual, the console stopped responding, I removed the game, and it was impossible to turn it off even by holding down the button. So, I turned it off with the switch at the back (just an old PS3 with a 40GB hard drive)...
I turned it back on and noticed that it was lagging. I tried to launch the online game again. At that point, the saves were impossible with some error code I don't remember... Anyway, I turned it off normally, and when I turned it back on, BAM, this message popped up: "The file system... is going to be restored." So, HELP ME PLEASE! This is a nightmare!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your responses. Right now, I'm currently repairing files using solution 3, and I've been in recovery mode for 2 hours and it says "preparing."
