Hello everyone,
When I turn on the PS3, I get the following message: "the system storage file system is corrupted and will be restored." The PS3 starts the restoration, which lasts about 5 minutes. Once finished, it goes to a black screen, then the bug returns to the initial message.
Has anyone had this problem and what was the solution?
Have a good day everyone
Configuration: Windows Vista / Chrome 24.0.1312.52

A big thank you for your response. option 3 didn’t work, I had to restore the PS3 system, and it works.
thank you. -

no actually at that moment he hadn’t done anything
to update
but on the other hand he had the ultra do you think there is a report?
i’m not sure in formatting that they could go down again

I can't translate this as it appears to be incomplete or unclear. Please provide the full text to translate.

you know what, nasty one
yeah I’m squatting here, it’s my birthday I do as I please
I thought the 5 deleted the UPDATE
and well no, crazy thing, no ;-)
I realized that while helping a guy yesterday, option 5
without asking him anything, he tells me
I need to update, I have 4.31

xD
yes because he probably put the internet back on his PS3 so he got a update notification I think.

sotrie at the end of September for the ultra slim, firmware 4.31 in October, I think like you that they should have had this version at their release, so yes this question is strange.

Before asking you the question, I went to Micromania, after explaining my problem they told me that my PS3 was dead and that it was normal after 2.5 years.
In your opinion, what is the average lifespan of a PS3? -
Why?
you said your PS3 was working again.

Following your advice I did a reinstall/update, and my PS3 is working again.
Just saying that Micromania's advice isn’t the best. -
ha ok you scared me, well micromania what won't they do to sell..right...xD

it's vast, after all it also depends on its upkeep and its use.

there's not really a duration
anyway far from the PS2 and PS1
but I would estimate it by experience around 5 years yes
some have given up after a week
some resist more than 5 years
I had one for 4 months then it broke
the one they sent back a FAT 40GB 4-5 years still ongoing
as you can see
A crowded elevator will always smell differently to a dwarf -

suck the vents from time to time
do the self-cleaning once a year....
- remove the console’s game
- unplug the power cable located behind the console
- press the eject button (with the power cable still disconnected)
- plug the power cable back in while keeping your finger on the eject button
The console should make more noise than usual
The self-cleaning is done
Once finished, unplug the console and then plug it back in to be able to start it.
