Hello,
I have a problem when I want to export a video in HD; when I open the video at the end of the export to see the result, the video is slow, while the sound is normal. However, when I do not convert it to HD but to .AVI, the video is fine but of poor quality. I would like to know if there is a solution to this problem, as I need to upload a video on YouTube.
Thank you very much in advance
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 33.0.1750.117

Hello, I am happy to help, if possible, the new Studio 17 users, but a minimum of information is required. For example, knowing the power of your computer is "essential" for HD editing of the new, cumbersome video formats.
So always provide the "configuration" of your computer:
The type of OS: Windows XP, Seven, 8, or Mac, 32 or 64 bits.
The type of processor, e.g., Quad Core 2500K.
The amount of RAM (4GB, 8GB).
For this, go to "Control Panel", "System and Security", and "System".
The capacity of the hard drive in GB and its speed: 5400 or 7200 RPM.
For this, right-click on `Drive C:` and select "Properties".
The type of graphics card, go to:
"Device Manager".
One thing: make a summary of your "config", save it in a folder, and when requested, select it and paste it automatically into the post.
And finally, provide the type of video equipment (brand, number if possible) that you are using, the export format (e.g., MPEG2, MP4), and the desired resolution (e.g., HD1920x1080), and what you expect from us as a response.
Best regards,

Remember to mark your message as "resolved" if that is the case.

I have the same problem with an i7, 8GB of RAM, a RAID 5 system disk with 5 drives, 1.5TB filled to 30%.
I have the same problem. "Glandu" was right to raise the issue of the computer's performance, but that's absolutely not the case. I have an i7 at 2.3GHz with 8GB of RAM and a 500GB SSD. At first, I thought there was a hardware issue with my computer, but I've just had proof that the problem comes from my Pinnacle 17: being part of an association with a video workshop, I entrusted my footage to someone who has exactly the same ASUS as mine with Pinnacle 16, and the result was that he exported a perfect HD 1080 video. Conversely, I was given footage that had been exported in HD 1080 without any issues, but my Pinnacle generated a slow-motion mpg4 video with normal audio. Let's find the error!
I just found a solution: during export, by default, the Mpg4 HD 1080p displays in "advanced" Video H264, which cannot be changed.
Instead of the "HD 1080p" preset, choose "Custom" and "advanced":
Mpg4 is selected by default (preferably to H264), be sure to select 1920x1080 in progressive, and apply these presets. The generated Mpg4 file works perfectly. The problem thus arises from Pinnacle 17's choice of H264 in the standard settings for MPg4 HD 1080p.
