Hello, I would like to know if it is a valid software or not. Currently, I have Pinnacle Studio Plus 10. I do video editing and montage from photos. What is the difference between Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate Premium and Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate? The price, yes, but otherwise... Thank you for replying lmarc

Hello,  the base Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate is common to both versions. The difference is that the premium version includes more themes.  Each Volume contains over 25 content sets. Premium Pack Volume 1 includes title and DVD menu themes such as "Baby", "Extreme Sports", "Holidays", and audio elements such as "Weapons", "Sports", "Tools", and many more. Honestly, it's better to keep your money!  Pinnacle treats its customers like pigeons with all its versions.  The few effects or features that are offered are simply... uh... crap! I think that's the exact term!  I chose the Ultimate version and I regret it every day... ;)

Studio 12 is indeed extremely difficult to use, as it requires activation keys that, even when verified, do not work. It's outrageous to hassle the buyer who pays a high price for this software. I can't therefore determine if Studio 12 Ultimate is worth it, as I am constantly having to redo activation keys.

Hello,  I use Pinnacle Studio 12 and I have no issues with the key or anything like that. From time to time the software crashes when I push it too hard. I must say that the software itself requires a lot of memory; it is quite heavy. I chose it because I couldn't find a clear and objective comparison on the web and since I was already familiar with my version 9. It's a good software, but I wouldn’t make a big advertisement for it; I think there might be better options like Magix (available in a 30-day demo, I believe).

Hello,  I use Pinnacle Studio 11 and I have no issues with the key or anything like that. (All - all) I find it outrageous to buy Studio 11 when Studio 12 was coming out just 15 days later with requests to Pinnacle for no commercial gesture (thanks Pinnacle). Especially since, as I pointed out to them (everything bought from them and even software that no longer works under Windows Vista like Hollywood FX, Express, Studio DV, DVD Copy too expensive and always updates; new versions, more effects  and of course, we go to the draw.

Hello everyone  I recently started using Studio 12 Ultimate with my files shot on a Sony High Definition (AVCHD) camera. The editing, although very resource-intensive and unstable, works relatively well. However, it is impossible to burn a DVD or create a video file: the program crashes every time (rendering error). I have tried everything during many sleepless nights (removing effects, splitting the project, etc.). Although this type of issue is well-known (just look at the number of forums dedicated to it), Pinnacle's customer service never responds (of course). Do as I did: find another program than Pinnacle! It doesn’t work!

I encounter the same problem; I constantly have to try to create and recreate the files in ".avi" and then we end up managing to burn them by using another software. For my part, I do it with Windows Media, but it's a real headache!
