Well the problem apparently comes from the .AVI files, so the solution is to convert the video from .AVI to .MPEG, achievable thanks to free software such as:
-Freemake Video Converter" for example.

Hello and welcome as a new member. Your question didn’t find a taker. I’m more on the “studio editing” side and less on the “conversion.” Post your question in the “video TV” section, the most general forum in the sense of “AVI to MPEG conversion.” There are specialists like “zigourra” or Andy who can take your question.
A quick note to tell you that AVI is a container; it can contain a variety of audio/video codecs, not all of which are supported.
However, if you have a precise question about Studio, I can reflect on it.
