Hello,
On my Acer laptop with Windows 8, I can't tell whether I'm typing in uppercase or lowercase. I figured the manufacturer must have thought of this?
If someone could provide me with information on this, it would be really helpful as this lack of indication is annoying when typing passwords.
Thank you very much in advance for your responses.

Hello,
there should be a small light on when caps lock is on, either on the caps lock key (sometimes very small and dim) or at the top of the keyboard. If you don't see it, it means the LED is burnt out.

I have neither a little light at the top of the keyboard nor a light on the caps lock key?

Hello Arlette,
Try on a text creation page, to type letters using the temporary Shift key (the key with an upward arrow on the left side of the keyboard) and then with the Caps Lock key (the one located above).

Thank you magnus888 for your reassuring response. I took my computer to the after-sales service for another issue and I hope the technician will see this problem, but I am glad to know that there is an indication when I type in uppercase or lowercase.
Best regards,
