Hello,

I have a laptop with Windows 8 on it. But I feel like there is a problem because when I'm on Facebook or my inbox with Internet Explorer and I press the F5 key to refresh, nothing happens. It freezes the mouse and I have to press it again for my mouse to move again. Because the F5 key also has a blue logo on it that works with the FN key.

How is that possible?

Configuration: Windows 8 / Internet Explorer 10.0

You may have enabled the function lock, so whenever you press a key with a blue logo on it, it's as if you're pressing FN at the same time. Try pressing FN and F5. Otherwise, there’s Ctrl+R to refresh a page.

It all depends on the PC. But what does the logo represent? Because I've never seen a function that locks the mouse. Unless you're talking about the touchpad.

On the F5 key, the logo is a crossed-out screen with a hand on it.
