Hello,
I have had a laptop for several years now. I dropped it last month and the screen is broken. I plugged it into a TV that was lent to me via HDMI, no problem, it was even great! Now I had to return the TV and connect to an old PC monitor using VGA (you forget what it was like!).
The problem is that the monitor works, OK, but the colors are absolutely horrible. Some blues appear green, green appears pink, orange appears purple, etc.
I tried adjusting on the monitor; there is a contrast knob, a brightness knob, and that's it!
Do you have any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 32.0.1700.76

Right-click in the middle of the screen and customize.....

Hello...
Go to your graphics card settings and change the values... try some experiments.
It may also be that your VGA cable is damaged... if it's removable, replace it..
Best regards,
See you soon

Did you adjust the resolution, the number of colors...?
Try updating the drivers for this graphics card.
We should try another screen via VGA...
See you later

Yes, I played around with the settings and everything, no change, my graphics card is up to date, no problem.
But to my great surprise, I turned my PC back on this morning, a miracle happened overnight! Everything works perfectly. I admit I don't understand, maybe a loose connection?? -
Good for you... if you haven't touched anything, it's one of the manifestations of the uncertainties of computing... however, the 15 pins on the VGA connector are fragile, and sometimes one of them bends, which manifests itself like this, + or -....
Don't touch anything anymore! ;)
Best regards,
See you soon
Please remember to mark your topic as "resolved"... thank you!
