Hello,
I have a "VGA no signal" message on the screen, but the PC is on. I've tested my monitor on a laptop, and it works fine, and I've noticed that the fan noise is louder on my PC.
Configuration: 1x AMD ATHLON XP 2600+
frequency=1916mhz
memory:768mb
graphics: NVIDIAGeforce FX5100 64mb

Check that your graphics card is working.
But this could come from many different things.
So we need more details about your problem in order to have the possibility to help you.
I immediately think of the graphics card, but it could very well be the motherboard, or the processor, power supply, or even RAM.

Are you talking about a desktop PC?

Hi, I have the same problem and I've seen that it's my graphics card that isn't working; its fans don't work. They spin when I turn on my PC but then stop even though my VGA to HDMI adapter is properly connected.

Yes, it's a desktop PC and yes, it appeared after the impact. How can I tell if it's the motherboard or the graphics card?
