Hi,
I bought a USB to VGA adapter to connect my second monitor to my laptop (since the main output connected to the motherboard is glitching and causing my computer to freeze...).
So I plug in my adapter and connect the USB to my computer, and the second monitor powers on. However, the problem is that when I go into my graphics card properties to change the settings for my second monitor (resolution and orientation), my second monitor is not detected by the graphics card. So my problem is that I can't change anything in the properties of my second monitor because it is not detected by the graphics card...
I am using Windows 7 and my graphics card is a Mobile Intel(R) 945 Chipset Family.
And yes, it is possible to connect two monitors because I used to do it with the same setup on my computer.
Thank you for your help!

I don't know if you use Windows 7, but I have the icon located in the bar right next to my clock. I click to see all the icons that are there, and when my USB to VGA adapter is plugged in, an orange icon appears and I can change my settings using it.
However, I don't know why, but I can't change the display in the settings, so I eventually decided to physically switch my monitor on my desk! (It comes to the same thing anyway!)
