I just downloaded Snapchat and then I wanted to open it, but it wouldn't open, and I would like to know why it won't open.

It's simple, Snapchat has made it so that its service is no longer available on devices running the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system. And since the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 runs on this system, well, it's dead, it doesn't work...

Snapchat has really blocked everything, even if you want to install an older version, they'll display "you are using an older version, please update."

The only solution would be to upgrade the operating system from 4 to 5: Lollipop 5.1... but for now, Samsung has not opted to make an update on its Tab 3, and it seems they plan to leave it at that. So, for Snapchat, it's dead (FIFA and other apps that perform better with the latest Android systems). Anyway, all of this is a marketing strategy to force you to buy their new products...

Hello, sorry to intrude but I'm having the same issue with Snapchat not opening anymore. I click on the icon and Snapchat opens for just 5 seconds before freezing and shutting down... so I don't even have time to enter my username... etc. PS: I'm on a Samsung Galaxy TAB 3 and I've already reinstalled Snapchat! This problem has been ongoing for 3 days and personally, if I can't find a solution, I will reluctantly try to reset the tablet... thanks in advance...

He uninstalls snap, then you turn off your device, then activate airplane mode, turn on wifi, and turn off wifi again after 30 seconds, and for me, it worked right away.
