Hello

After an update of Avast and a restart of my Windows 8, I have access to the internet but everything else is blocked with error 0xc0000906 for some programs.

Can someone please help me?

Thank you!

    Hello,

    Use this general disinfectant software:

▶ Download and install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
▶ At the end of the installation, make sure the option “update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware” is checked. However, it is not necessary to activate the free trial for protection.
▶ Launch MBAM and allow the updates to download (otherwise do them manually when launching the program)
▶ Then go to the "Scan" tab, check "Run a full scan" and then "Scan"
▶ Select your hard drives and then click on "Start scan"
▶ At the end of the analysis, click on View Results
▶ Check all detected items and then click on Remove Selected
▶ If prompted to restart the computer, accept.
▶ Post in your next response the report that appears after deletion.

    Good evening,

Can you use this diagnostic software? It will help me assist you:

▶ Download ZHPDiag (by Nicolas Coolman)
▶ Run it (if you're on Windows Vista or Windows 7, do it by right-clicking --> Run as administrator)
▶ Follow the instructions during installation (make sure to check the box to create a shortcut on the Desktop). It will launch automatically at the end of the installation.
▶ Click on configure then on the icon representing a magnifying glass (“Default diagnosis with legitimate”)
▶ The report will be on your Desktop
▶ Go to this site, click on "Browse", select the ZHPDiag report and click on Send the file. Wait while the file is being sent, then copy/paste the link provided in your next response on the forum.

If you need help, follow this tutorial: http://www.sosvirus.net/canned-speech-zhpdiag-t712.html. Don’t confuse ZHPFix and ZHPDiag!

    Thank you Marou 81!
    Unfortunately, I can't run ZHPDiag.

"Window SmartScreen prevented the start of an unrecognized application"...

    Any other suggestions, please??

      @ lili: at worst.
@ coincoinjunior: run ZHPDiag by clicking on the blocking message and then click accept or execute.
