Question

Hello, I have a problem with the Qualcomm Atheros Wireless Network Adapter AR5B97 driver. I no longer have access to Wi-Fi because in the Device Manager it shows: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A hardware or software change might have installed a damaged or unsigned file, or it might be malware from an unknown source. (Code 52). Could someone please help me as soon as possible; I’m connected via an Ethernet cable and that’s not great. Thank youConfiguration: Windows 7 / Chrome 31.0.1650.63

Not working I uninstalled the driver then restarted the PC; re-install the driver then restart the PC; update the driver online / via a file on the PC (driver file) then restart the PC. Help me please I don’t want to stay on Ethernet cable.

But is your Wi-Fi properly configured and enabled on your PC. In Device Manager under Network Adapters, is your Wi-Fi card listed together with the Ethernet one. ?  -- Who loves instruction! finds knowledge that comes from reflection! PS. Yes, my WIFI is enabled and properly configured. In Device Manager my card is listed, but when I right-click it and go to Properties, it shows: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is damaged or has a bad signature, or it might be malware from an unknown source. (Code 52)

Try this in case you have something nasty on your PC. Use ADWCleaner, click Scanner and then Clean, and restart your PC. You’ll have a report afterward with what was removed  -- Who loves instruction! finds knowledge that comes from reflection! PS. Create a restore point often! it resolves quite a few problems.
