Duration of an animated slide

Hello,

I want to create a fully automated slideshow (no clicks) in PowerPoint 2010. I have set the different animation parameters (duration, entrance effect, exit effect...) for the titles and photos in each of my slides (animation tab). I have also chosen my transitions between each slide (transition tab). So far, so good.

My concern is the duration of each slide. I would like the slide change to occur immediately after the last animation of the slide without any delay. Here lies the problem:

In the transition tab, I indicated "advance to the next slide after x seconds," where x corresponds to the total time of the internal effects and animations (automatic) on my slide (which I check in the animation pane of the slide).

However, when I start the slideshow, there is always a time interval of 3-4 seconds between the last animation of the slide and the transition to the next slide, whereas I want it to be instantaneous. The time x I indicated is not taken into account (whether I set it to 0s or 100000s, the slide will always move to the next one, 3-4 seconds after the last animation of the slide).

I would like to point out that in the "Set up Show" option, "using timing, if present" is checked.

I have not found any answers to my question on this site or on the internet so far. I hope my question is relatively clear; it's not easy to explain without being able to show ^^.

Thank you for your responses that could help me.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Chrome 31.0.1650.57

Hi,

It's because your photos are heavy in terms of Mb, and it takes time to load them in the presentation. On another PC, the behavior will be different.

To improve this: use a PC with a faster processor and more RAM, or reduce the size/quality of the images.

Hello,

That's it! I published in video format, and everything is working well. Indeed, my processor is outdated ^^.

Thank you very much!
