Credit card scam

Hello,
Today, when checking my bank account, I found a charge of €75 from: CB GOOGLE *WORDS M dated 23/11
However, to date, I have not used my credit card... if I am not mistaken, I closed a YouTube account I had created a long time ago on a Hotmail address when I saw that YouTube was part of Google Plus, but I have NEVER entered my credit card information on unknown sites or elsewhere... do you have any idea who this could be? In the meantime, I have reported it for fraudulent use and I am waiting to validate this in the agency tomorrow.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Bouji.

It's probably Google AdWords that allows you to advertise your site or company via Google for a fee.

Graffx is right, don't expect a refund. That's why I advise people not to give phones or tablets to children to keep them occupied... a nanny is cheaper at the limit :D

Hi

Indeed, no refund in this kind of case.

I would also advise never to link a bank account to an online account. Re-entering your card numbers for each transaction is annoying, but it prevents this kind of mishap.

Hi,

It might be due to a purchase of some application!

Hi,
I haven't bought any application, I tried to add my credit card on it once but it rejected my card, so they may have kept the codes? I hope I'll get reimbursed after this opposition!

I finally found out, it's a person (probably a little sister) who bought diamonds in a game (1000 for 99 dollars), but when I linked my account to my credit card, they refused it (Google) and that was 6 months ago. Am I going to get a refund, right?

Hey no :)

You are supposed to know what you are doing in front of your computer and protect it from people who are not responsible for their actions, including your children. Furthermore, no one can verify that it wasn't you, so unfortunately, you won't be able to.

Error if you dispute the payment, the bank will refund you.

No, it only works if you didn't provide your credit card information.

If you voluntarily saved this information on your account and someone close to you pays with this account, there will be no refund.

But precisely when I TRIED to link the account it refused, so from that moment I left the tablet in self-service, and they kept my bank account information. When the kid pressed the button, the withdrawal went through, even though they normally don't have the right to keep my information since they didn't accept the card.
I filed a report and went to the bank, but they didn't tell me anything like we won't refund you or anything else; the banker didn't even try to find out how it happened... what am I at risk of?

... After all, you have no proof that this "coordinates recording" actually failed ...

If it had failed, you wouldn't be here!

But then if it's like that we can oppose nothing on the net since we never have proof that we didn't enter this information on the said site...
