Question

Hello everyone!  So here it is, I have 2 problems that seem different but I think they are related :/  A few days ago, my new PC (it's only a few months old) started lagging like crazy, and it happened overnight. After using TuneUp Utilities, CCleaner etc., I see a slight improvement, but it's still not great.  So now I suspect a virus.. so I wanted to download Malwarebytes and Spybot just to scan my PC, but for both programs, an error message pops up when I try to install them: "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."  This is rather annoying :/ So if anyone could help me that would be really nice ^^  Thanks for taking the time to read my post :)  P.S.: I'm almost certain I didn't post this topic in the right forum, but I didn't know which one to choose :/ -- .Neox. Re, I don't think it's a good idea to run two scans at the same time. It's even recommended to close all third-party applications during the mbam scan, and not to use your computer until the scan is finished.  -- Life is so precious! And every second is a gem of gold.
