I had the same problem. The functionality of the trash has changed recently. Emails in the trash were only deleted with user action. With the new functionality, the automatic deletion option after 7 days has been turned on by default and without any action on my part. I lost important emails that I had accidentally put in the trash. The question I am asking myself is whether Orange has the right to automatically delete emails from the trash after 7 days without the email account owner's consent?
