How to make my gmail trash appear

Hello,

I deleted emails from my inbox and they must have gone to my trash can.
It hasn't been thirty days! I would like to know how to make the trash can appear on the left side of my emails? How can I do this as it must be hidden somewhere since it exists in every inbox?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

To make the trash appear on Gmail: "Settings" --> "Labels" --> and at the "Trash" level, click on "show".

Thank you, Aideur. Yes, it's like with Yahoo, there are now several usable versions of Gmail. Indeed, by going back to the old version, the trash appears again. That said, I didn't quite understand why they decided to remove it in the new version. There must be a valid reason, since they have added features. We'll see how it goes.

Hello,

Trash has become a "system label." Make it reappear temporarily by clicking on "4 more" in the left column (there may be more than 4 depending on whether you have already created labels yourself. For me, it’s below "Spam") and you will find "Trash" in the list.

If you want to make it reappear permanently, go to:
- "Settings"
- "Labels"
- Click on "Show" next to Trash.

And Trash will be there again. Good luck!

Oh, Christelle, thank you very much for this more than precise response. It is now stored in my head. I must say that with Gmail, the services and settings are plentiful, and we don’t check them every few mornings, hence the usefulness of forums and contributions like yours.
