Recover emails after emptied Trash

Hello,

I emptied the Trash of my Yahoo mail inbox without realizing that important emails were in there. How can I restore/retrieve these emails?

I’ve searched online in vain (a lot of help for software that restores lost files on hard drives; help for restoring emails that are still in the Trash).

I submitted a request to Yahoo yesterday (http://help.yahoo.com/l/fr/yahoo/mail/ymail/restore.html). I am waiting for their response.

I couldn't find a place to chat with a Yahoo representative.

If you have emptied the webmail trash and you are not checking your emails with a mail client (Thunderbird, etc...), well..... it's game over!

Shit... I manage my emails via Mozilla/Chrome.
Even the recovery request made to Yahoo is in vain?
No software (Recuva & co) can do anything?
No "hidden" option somewhere in my Yahoo account?

A priori, the request to Yahoo is unlikely to succeed... but still, it would be the only lead...

Recovery software only works (more or less effectively) if the messages have been previously saved on the PC (that is, via a mail client software)... In the case of direct consultation on the web, there is no saving on the PC... so "nothing to restore"...

Nothing exciting, it almost smells like pâté.
A year of deleted emails (true story)...
I suspected as much about the recovery software.
Weird that there isn't a recovery option in Yahoo (there's one on Hotmail with the "Recover deleted items" button in the trash).
Why is there little chance that the request to Yahoo will succeed?
And no place to chat with a Yahoo representative directly?

Yahoo has been losing momentum in recent years... They are not going to invest in a "real" customer service, which would come at a significant cost... just look at this for example:

In short, you did well to ask them.... now it's just a matter of seeing what response you'll get, if you get one at all.... (so far, I haven't heard of any feedback for this kind of request.....)

I received a response from Yahoo Customer Service today at noon.
They replied to an email sent yesterday about Abuse & Spam (which has nothing to do with my issue, but it was the only reason I found in another form).

The person replied asking me to fill out a request here: https://fr.aide.yahoo.com/kb/sln2552.html?impressions=true&i=
Concluding the email with "Feel free to contact me again if you have any other doubts or concerns, we are here to help you."

Well, I already made the help request 2 days ago, yesterday, and just now...

To my dismay, I just received a new email from Yahoo Acknowledger that is quite frustrating:

"We have closed your incident ticket because we believe this has been resolved.

If you still need assistance, you can contact us again using the options available at: Yahoo General Help Thank you!

P.S: A response to this email will not be processed and cannot be answered. However, we will be happy to assist you through your new assistance request."

Ah! What is this?
My issue is absolutely not resolved!?

I read your link/article on arobase... However, I still hold out hope of recovering my emails.
