Reset the whole computer!

Could someone tell me how to reset the entire computer from its purchase in the BIOS? I think there's a phrase like "Load Default Setting" or something like that! But I can't find it in the BIOS! I want to do this because my PC no longer detects anything via USB! I've tried everything...

Thank you for responding quickly!

Good evening,

Resetting the BIOS only restores the BIOS settings to default, it will not reinstall the operating system.

To reset the BIOS, there are several methods:

If that doesn't solve your problem, one solution is to revert to the last known configuration. For that:
  • start the computer and hold down the F8 key
  • this will open a window
  • choose the last good configuration and confirm
  • The PC will restart with a configuration that worked well before

Last option: restore the factory settings of the computer. Most manufacturers provide a hidden partition containing the tools to restore the system to its factory condition.
