Key "USB ERROR" car radio LGMAX220UB

Hello,

I need help, I bought a Verbatim USB stick and my LG car radio shows USB CHECK or USB ERROR. What should I do?? I've been told to format the stick; is that the right solution?? On my personal computer, the stick reads fine.

    The key reads well, but what you put on it fits the reading specifications of the car radio???

    Yes, I think it's in mp3 format.

      If you do "more than think" that it's in mp3, it should work if the key is formatted in FAT.

      In the file explorer, right-click and properties ==> see "file system"

      apart from that, I don't see much!!

      however, check the car radio manual
      * the maximum size of the USB key
      * the file format (Fat32 or NTFS)
      * the audio formats (mp3 or other)
      * the maximum number of tracks
