I would like to connect a USB socket through a PERITEL socket. Is there a cable or an adapter for this connection?
Thank you

I want to connect a DT83HD TNT decoder to an old DVD recorder and hard drive that don't have a USB port, but do have a PERITEL socket.

Except for mistakes, the TNT decoder DT83HD corresponds to a reference from "Sagem", and it has a USB port on the front (out & in) as well as a Scart and an HDMI (at the back of the device, both are outputs).

      Hello,

A quick search on GOOGLE shows that your TNT decoder allows for playback and recording. This means that a simple USB drive (or stick) will do the trick. I don't see what the SCART socket has to do with this.

    Hello,

More than the connection, it is necessary to explain the usage: what information are you going to transmit? Why is this need?

These clarifications are essential because a SCART connection is designed to transmit analog audio and video information, whereas USB is used to transmit digital information that rarely has a direct relation to audio and video.

    Hello,

So the USB port won't be able to serve that purpose!
If the DVD recorder with hard drive does not have a USB port but has a Peritel port, it's because it is standalone and capable of encoding (i.e., recording) video (and decoding = playing).

This TNT decoder has a Peritel port and an HDMI port (at least that's what Darty says :p), you need to use one of these ports.
If the Peritel is already in use, there are Peritel multiplexers available (each connected device will have the same video).
The best option would be to use the HDMI, if it's available on the DVD recorder (better image quality than with Peritel).

    Best regards,
